This pattern started life as a watercolour painting. I was experimenting with different textures to create an anatomical heart which looked pleasing to the eye but also a little realistic and messy in appearance. The original was lovely, but far to small to use as a base file for scaleable patterns, so I painstakingly redrew it in vector format to create this delightful chaos! I plan to make a dress with it one day! Watch this space for updates!
